Projects

Each student completes 2 projects within the master’s program. It is possible to choose between scientific projects and change projects. Here are some examples of projects that have been completed by students of the Master’s „Sustainability, Society and the Environment” and the Master’s “Environmental Management”.

Wurzel-Bildung - We implemented garden projects at schools in order to give kids who grow up in an urban context the chance to experience where their food comes from and that they are able to grow their own vegetables, fruits and herbs. The project deals with topics of urban organic gardening/farming, environmental and climate protection, social-ecological sustainability, effects of consumption and capitalist food production.

Das Kieler Tretwerk (Project 1). It is supposed to reach the more uninformed, busy citizens as it is distributed at several spots all over the city (for free).
